ISLAMABAD – More relief for Pakistanis as petrol prices moved down to Rs346 per litre, with Rs28 cut this wee due to changes in global oil market.
The federal government has announced another reduction in petroleum prices, cutting petrol by Rs6.59 per litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs4.25 per litre, effective November 7, 2026. The latest decision has brought petrol down from Rs352.59 to Rs346 per litre, while diesel now costs Rs378 instead of Rs382.25.

The new rates cover the November 7–10 period, providing another round of relief following a series of sharp reductions during the first week of November.
Just weeks ago, Pakistan’s motorists were grappling with soaring fuel costs as petrol prices climbed dangerously close to Rs400 per litre. The price stood at approximately Rs387.40 at the beginning of October before a series of increases pushed it to Rs398.96 on October 9, the month’s highest level.
However, the rally proved short-lived. A reversal in international petroleum market trends gradually brought prices down, triggering a succession of reductions in the domestic market. By October 20, petrol had fallen to approximately Rs381 per litre before slipping to Rs376.06 on October 28.
The month closed at Rs377.91 per litre, almost Rs10 below the level recorded at the beginning of October. With approximately 23 pricing revisions during the month, October emerged as a particularly volatile period for Pakistan’s petroleum market.

While October brought unpredictable fluctuations, November opened with an unmistakable downward trend. Within just five days, petrol prices dropped repeatedly, bringing significant savings for consumers already struggling with transportation and household expenses.
The downward journey began with petrol reaching Rs374.51 on November 3, followed by another reduction to Rs369.06 on November 4. The following day, the price dropped further to Rs362, before another Rs9.41 cut pushed it to Rs352.59 on November 6. Now, the November 7 revision has brought petrol to Rs346 per litre, extending the consecutive series of reductions.
