Descendant of a contractor has alleged former chief minister Pervez Elahi of receiving 20 million rupees from his father for awarding a contract.
According to details, Muhammad Waqar, son of owner of a contract company in his statement in the court of Senior Civil Muhammad Afzal said that his father contact Sohail Asghar for getting contract of road construction.
He said that Sohail Asghar asked father to arrange 20 million rupees and after arranging the desired amount, the said person organized meeting with Pervez Elahi.
Muhammad Waqar said that his father Rs20 million to former chief minister in presence of ex secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti.
He said that after receiving the amount, Pervez Elahi directed the Highway officials to award contract of road construction to his father.
