Senior leader of Communist Party of India Marxist CPI-M Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has hoped that people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir will get justice from the Indian Supreme Court.
A 5-judge bench of the Indian Supreme Court has started hearing pleas challenging abrogation of Article 370.
Speaking to media over phone from New Delhi, he said it is good that the Supreme Court took up the pleas and they are hopeful the top court will deliver justice to the people of the territory..
Article 370, that gave special constitutional status to Jammu and Kashmir, was scrapped on August 05, 2019, following which Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act 2019 came into being, dividing the territory into two union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.—KMS
