District Police Officer South Waziristan Lower Farman Ullah (PPM) Wana held a ceremony regarding handing over of Raghzai police station and checkpoint Angoor Adda to regular police. DPO, other police officers were also present in the ceremony. Pak Army officer handed over the keys of police station and checkpoint to DPO.
The DPO thanked Pakistan Army for the construction of the police station and police post and hoped that the Pakistan Army would help the police in various phases in the future. After the handover ceremony of the building, on the orders of the DPO, the police force under the leadership of SHO Raghzai Usman Khan shifted to the police station. The people of the area expressed happiness over the construction of the police station and thanked the DPO for fulfilling the long-standing demand.
Local elders vowed to provide all possible assistance to the police in controlling crime. On the other hand, local committee members of Tanai area met Mr. DPO, and congratulated the DPO on his new responsibility, and apprised him about the issues in the area, the DPO assured that the police are always there to provide all possible assistance.
