ISLAMABAD – The wait is finally over for candidates preparing for federal government jobs, as Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) announced a fresh examination schedule for recruitment tests postponed in two major cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The much-awaited announcement comes after security concerns disrupted the commission’s examination plans in Peshawar and Dera Ismail Khan, leaving applicants uncertain about when they would be able to appear for their tests.
FPSC confirmed that the postponed Phase III General Recruitment Tests 2026 will now be held from November 7 to November 11, allowing affected candidates to resume their examination preparations. The recruitment tests had initially been arranged for October 12 to 19 in both cities. However, the commission was forced to revise its plans as the prevailing law-and-order situation raised security concerns.
With the uncertainty surrounding examination dates now resolved, candidates have been directed to prepare for the upcoming tests and keep track of official announcements. The commission has also confirmed that revised examination schedules and admission certificates will be uploaded to the FPSC website by October 30, 2026.
Applicants will be able to access their updated admission documents online and verify their examination dates, timings and assigned centres before heading to their respective venues. Candidates have been advised to visit www.fpsc.gov.pk regularly to obtain the latest information and avoid missing important examination instructions.
