Deputy Commissioner Umer Farooq Warriach said that district administration, police and other department have finalised all security and other arrangements to keep peace and provide maximum facilities to mourners during holy month of Muharram in the district Hafizabad. He expressed these views while addressing the meeting of District Emergency Board Hafizabad.
ADCG Malik Abbas Zulqarnain, CEO Health Dr. Fareha Akram Malik, District Emergence Officer Rescue 1122 Engineer Muhammad Adnan Nawaz and district heads of other departments were also attended the meeting.
He directed the officers and officials of government entities to keep vigilant eye upon anti social elements particularly participants of processions and Majalis to avert any conspiracy to breach peaceful atmosphere prevailed in the district hatched by anti-Pakistan and anti-Islam elements.He said that Rescue 1122 and health department would be established first aid posts on the routes of processions and places of Majalis while Municipal committees would be ensured cleanliness and repair of roads.
He also directed the officers of PTCL, GEPCO, Sui gas to deputed their staff for removing hurdles on the path of processions and all staff would be present along with processions till the concluding of processions.
