A mobile health unit has been launched to provide free of cost healthcare facilities to people in far-flung rural areas of the district. This was stated by the Chief Executive Officer Health Dr. Farehah Akram Malik here. She said that mobile health unit was equipped with laboratory, X-Ray, ECG, ultrasound and other necessary machinery while specialists male and female doctors have been deputed with mobile health unit.
Meanwhile, Programmee Administrator Dr. Fahad Aziz briefed the CEO regarding working of the unit. He said that this unit would serve five days a week in rural and remote areas of the district for providing health facilities to the people at their doorsteps.
Meanwhile on the special directions of the Controller Civil Defence Hafizabad Umer Farooq Warriach, Civil Defence Department Hafizabad has started action against mushroom like growth of illegal oil agencies established in populated areas of the district to avoid any untoward and fatal incident.
In this connection, civil defense teams have sealed six unauthorised oil agencies operating in different areas of the district and get registered cases with local police station, on Wednesday.
