Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police foiling a bid of arms smuggling in government vehicle arrested five suspected and seizing a large quantity of ammunition during in an intelligence based operation in Kohat. According to Operations SP Zahid Khan, Police arrested five suspects including four Levi Khassadar near Marai checkpoint and recovered a large quantity of ammunition and deadly weapons from their possession.
The recovered weapons included a rocket launcher, anti-aircraft guns, 18 rocket shells, and 20 rocket boosters, 13 hand grenades, two SMG guns, and around 3,000 cartridges. He said that among the arrested suspects were four members of the Levi Khassadar who were attempting to smuggle weapons in a government vehicle. He told that these ammunitions can be used in terrorism activities.
