All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has said that Naren-dra Modi’s fascist Indian government is harassing the Kashmiris through its notorious investigation agencies, National Investigation Agency, State In-vestigation Agency and Enforcement Directorate, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The participants of the meeting presided over by the APHC-AJK Convener Mehmood Ahmed Saghar in Islamabad, today, said that the Indian agencies were implicating the Kashmiris in false cases to suppress their freedom sentiment, but they would never succeed in their sinister designs and the Kashmiri people could continue their struggle till complete success.
The Hurriyat leaders said India is committing violation of international law in the occupied territory and its troops are raiding the houses of human rights activists, journalists and ordinary people to harass them. Indian agencies are notorious for implicating the Kashmiris in false cases, they added. They said the registration of false cases against the Kashmiris shows the stupidity of the Modi government. They also strongly condemned the cruel and illegal move of the Modi government to transfer the Kashmiri political prisoners to the Indian jails far away from their homes.
The leaders said that the G20 countries realize the nefarious Indian motives behind the holding of a meeting of the forum in UN-recognized disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir and boycott it. They said by organizing such an even meeting in the occupied territory, the Modi regime wants to give an impression to the international community that the situation in IIOJK is absolutely fine.
The leaders also condemned the killing of inno-cent Kashmiris by Indian troops in fake encounters in IIOJK. They said the freedom of press is being suppressed and the media and journalists are being harassed by the occupation authorities. They appealed to world human rights organizations to put pressure on India to release political detainees, withdraw troops from the territory and give the Kashmiris their birthright to self-determination. They also condemned the confiscation of the property of Syed Shakeel Yusuf and Syed Shahid Yusuf, the illegally detained sons of the Chairman of United Jihad Council, Syed Salahuddin, by the occupation authorities.
The meeting was attended by Hurriyat leaders Ghulam Mohammad Safi, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Syed Yousuf Naseem, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb, Mir Tahir Masood, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Altaf Hussain Wani, Imtiaz Wani, Advocate Parvez Ahmed, Shamim Shawl, Hassan Bana, Nisar Mirza, Raja Khadim Hussain, Muhammad Shafi Dar, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqub, Haji Sultan Butt, Javed Iqbal Butt, Dawood Yousafzai, Sheikh Abdul Majid, Gulshan Ahmed, Manzoor Ahmed Dar, Zahid Safi, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Adeel Mushtaq Wani, Abdul Majeed Lone, Syed Mushtaq, Muhammad Ashraf Dar and Zahid Ashraf.—KMS
