Armed robbers gunned down a woman upon resistance during a robbery attempt here on Friday and fled with the looted cash, jewelry and other valuables.
According to details, four armed robbers barged into house of Muhammad Bashir locate d in Sultan Town area of Okara.
The robbers took the residents hostage for three hours and continued looting whatever they found in the house.
Upon resistance, the robbers gunned down Sana Bashir and fled with looted cash worth Rs4.7 million, jewelry and other valuables.
Meanwhile, three armed robbers riding motorcycle deprived a milk supplying vehicle of Rs3,50,000 cash in Chatuchak police station jurisdiction.
Separate cases in both incidents were registering at concerned police stations and investigations were underway.—INP
