1600 appeared in PDS for admission

More than 1600 candidates appeared for admission in PDS Jand. The candidates included 890 boys and 772 girls who had come from different areas including other provinces.

The admission test was held in the premises of the girls and boys campuses of PDS Jand under the strict vigilance of the invigilators.

The test was conducted to admit 70 boys and 70 girls (orphans and needy) to class 6. Principal Professor Raja Iftikhar said, these admissions will be made strictly on merit as per the given policy after proper verification of the financial status of the students.

The verification is done by govt officials as per the laid down procedure. He said, successful students will be given admission in 6th class starting from April 2023 and these students will be given all facilities free of cost which include accommodation, food, medical, uniform and other facilities.
