Martyr Sepoy Haq Nawaz laid to rest in Layyah

The funeral prayers of Sepoy Haq Nawaz, an FC (Frontier Corps) official who was martyred during an operation in Balochistan, were offered on Monday in Layyah where he was laid to rest. The funeral of the martyred was offered at the main Eidgah Kot Sultan, which was attended by a large number of people including security officers, his relatives and friends.

Deputy Commissioner Farhat Hussain also attended the funeral. While speaking to media, he praised the bravery of the martyrs and said: “Martyrs are our pride, and their sacrifices for the country will always be remembered.” “We will make sure that the children of the martyr are completely taken care of,” he added.

The FC officials laid floral wreaths on his grave and presented the guard of honor, while an army contingent laid the martyr to rest with full military honor. The bereaved father of the martyr expressed his proud in his son’s sacrifice for the nation and added that all of his generations are ready to sacrifice for the country.—NNI
