Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Toqeer Ilyas Cheema visited Khawaja Muhammad Sharif Park in Fawara Chowk and directed the officers to rehabilitate and renovate the park immediately. ADCR Umer Farooq Warraich, President District Bar Khalida Shahid Advocate, Member Punjab Bar Muhammad Farooq Khokhar, ex-president District Bar P.M Safadar Kharal were accompanied.
DC also visited Khawaja Muhamad Sharif Library established for members district bar and directed the concerned officers to make atmosphere of the park and library attractive for lawyers and children.
Later, DC also reviewed cleanliness standard and sewerage system of different areas of the city. DC directed the officers of MC to ensure drainage of water accumulated in front of government high school No, 1, Hafizabad earliest.
Meanwhile Chief Executive Officer Health Dr. Rehan Azhar has said that on the directions of the Punjab government, breast feeding awareness week is being observed in the district Hafizabad for creating awareness among women about importance of breast feeding for healthy growth of new born.
