In a bid to transform Muslim majority Jammu and Kashmir into a Hindu majority area, the Modi-led Indian regime has approved construction of Hindu settlements in the name of transit accommodations for 6,000 Pandit employees, bound to work in the Valley under a so-called special package of the prime minister, the Rajya Sabha was informed.
Indian Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai also said the government has acquired state land measuring 2,359.45 hectares for such purpose during 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-2022.—KMS
