The Convener of APHC-AJK chapter, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, has castigated the Narendra Modi-led racist Indian regime for depriving the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir of their basic human rights.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in a statement issued in Islamabad said that the Modi regime had usurped all fundamental rights, freedoms and liberties of the people of the occupied territory. He said, while the voice for right to self-determination had already been strangulated with military and police brutalities in IIOJK, media men were also not being allowed to write freely and objectively.
The APHC-AJK Convener said that the arrest of noted human rights champion, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, and journalist Sajad Gul, were glaring examples of India’s repressive and revengeful unparalleled character in the occupied territory.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani called upon the international human rights organisations to take cognizance of the grim human rights situation of IIOJK and urge the world community to censure India for its state terrorism in the occupied territory.
Meanwhile, APHC-AJK leader, Syed Aijaz Rehmani, in his statement called upon the United Nations to implement its resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir so that the Kashmiri people could decide their future by themselves.
He also paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Gaw Kadal massacre.—INP
