Vice Chancellor the Women University Multan Prof Dr. Uzma Quraishi inaugurated 06 newly constructed residential apartments for teachers at Matital Campus. Project Director Asad Ali Bhuta briefed about the project and available facilities.
He said each apartment has set of two beds with attached bathrooms, TV lounge, drawing room and kitchen. The total estimated cost of this project is Rs.1.75 million and total area covered 1100 sq feet.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Uzma Quraishi appreciated the team effort of PD office. Talking to the participants, Prof Dr Uzma Quraishi said that the administration was extending all-out support to provide best residential facilities to the teachers, officers and employees on campus.
She said that the university was also solving various residential issues on top priority. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Uzma Quraishi also visited newly constructed students hostel at Matital campus.
The hostel comprises of 66 rooms. The Vice Chancellor directed to decorate the rooms with standard equipments.
She said that knowledge is an important feature of the world’s first welfare Islamic State of Madina.She said Muslim ruled the world for hundreds of years but a decline occurred when they started ignoring education.
She stressed that all the staff members should perform their duties whole-heartedly and enhance the good name of this historical institution.
On this occasion, Engineer Muhammad Adnan, Dr. Hina Ali, Dr. Maryam Zain, teachers and others staff were also present.
