Two thieves were killed and another was injured by a citizen during a theft attempt near here Monday night.
According to police, three thieves entered the house of one Kamran, son of Aslam, in old Makuana area of Khurrianwala police precincts at night.
The family started making hue and cry after seeing the thieves. A neighbour opened fire on the fleeing thieves, killing two of them and injuring the third. One of the dead thief was identified as Noor Ahmed Jappa, a resident of Dhudiwala.—APP
