Former prime minister and senior PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Thursday ridiculed the ongoing accountability process, saying he has to appear thrice in court during the current week.
Talking to reporters outside an accountability court in Islamabad, Khaqan Abbasi said the new accountability law has been introduced which is beyond the comprehension of any person. This law, he said, had been brought in only to give an extension to the NAB chairman.
According to him, even judges feel concerned as the new law has been brought in with mala fide intention.
He said efforts were being made to keep all matters secret. The controversy about the DG ISI went on for three weeks and no one understands why it was brought to the public domain.
