Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Parliamentary Leader in National Assembly Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that all the promises and claims made by Imran Khan have been proved false today.
He said that the time has come to sent packing PTI government, adding that if Pakistan has to come out of this crisis then only solution of this lies in supremacy of the constitution and transparent election.
He said that when the respect of vote will be restored and the rulers will be answerable before the masses then the new chapter of prosperity will open and new journey of prosperity will start.
This was stated by Khawaja Muhammad Asif while addressing the protest demonstration organized by Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in Sialkot on Saturday against inflation.
On the occasion Ameer Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith Senator Professor Sajid Mir, PML-N MNAs Chaudhry Armghan Subhani, Rana Shamim Ahmed Khan, Ali Zahid Hamid, Syeda Nowsheen Iftikhar, MPA Manshaullah Butt, Mayor Sialkot Chaudhry Tauheed Akhtar and leaders of other parties were also present.
Khawaja Asif said that when we were in government and Imran Niazi was leader of the opposition and he was used to stand on the container or had used to lead any protest demonstration and was used to make all the statements but today these statements are used to scare Imran Khan in dreams during the night time.
He said that all the promises and claims made by Imran Khan have been proved false today.
He said that today dollar has reached at Rs 175, adding that Imran Khan was used to say that if Pakistani rupee depreciates by one rupee against the dollar then Rs500 billion debt is increased, adding that this has been said by me or Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif but was said by Imran Khan.
Khawaja Asif said that according to the statements of Imran Khan during the last three and half years Rs 25,000 billion debt on country has been increased due to only devaluation of dollar.
He said that petrol is being sold at Rs 138 per liter, adding that Imran Khan was used to say that when prices of petrol and electricity are increased then prime minister is a thief, adding that who is thief today.—SABAH
