A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the University College of Conventional Medicine the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Dr. Masood Homoeopathic Pharmaceuticals Lahore for mutual cooperation and collaboration.
During a ceremony held here on Thursday, Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor and Dr. Muhammad Zubair Qureshi, Chief Executive Officer signed on behalf of their respective institutions. On this occasion Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Pro Vice Chancellor and Shoaib Hakeem, Chief Operating Officer were also present.
Under the agreement, students of Islamia University of Bahawalpur will receive vocational training at the institute and gain knowledge on pharmaceuticals. Dr. Masood Homoeopathic Lahore will award a Gold Medal to a Bachelor’s of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery student.
Medical camps will be set up at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and medicines will be provided. The university will partner with the institute in research facilities and joint research projects will be carried out.
