In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has condemned the atmosphere of terror created by Indian police especially in the Kashmir Valley and Muslim dominated areas of Jammu region particularly after the sad demise of Syed Ali Gilani.
The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said public transport and mobile and internet service continues to be suspended while people face humiliation and intimidation by police and paramilitary forces.
Even pedestrians are not spared, he added.
The spokesman maintained that the people or the relatives of late Syed Ali Gilani were not allowed to visit and offer fateh at the grave of the departed leader.
He urged all human rights groups around the globe to approach the UN for permission to visit Kashmir to see for themselves the appalling human rights situation in the territory.—KMS
