Steps being taken for reforms in education sector: AJK PM

The Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Raja Farooq Haider Khan says government is taking tangible steps to bring reforms in the education sector in line with modern day requirement.
He was addressing the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony at City School here on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister said that promotion of quality education is top most priority of the present government. “Political interventions in recruitment, transfer and postings in the education have been discouraged.
Teachers are being recruited purely through NTS”, PM added.
He said we need to pay attention to get technical education to enable the ongoing students get jobs.
Raja Farooq Haider Khan lauded the role of private sector and urged private educational institutions to further improve their standards.
He suggested that public private partnership will bring positive changes towards promotion of quality education.
The Prime Minister said that government will encourage private institutions which play vital role in promotion of quality education.-
