Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday said that the government is working on transformation of Pakistan s geo-politics to geo-economy policy.
Talking to media persons in Multan, he said a Regional Economy Policy Division is being established at foreign ministry to bring investment in the country.
The foreign minister said that the government was introducing innovation in diplomacy using digital technology which will produce positive results.
About Afghan peace process, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan is playing an active role of facilitator for peace in Afghanistan and our stance has been acknowledged that there is no military solution to the conflict. He said so far 47 per cent withdrawal of foreign troops has been completed.
Regarding Palestine issue, the Foreign Minister said Muslim countries will have to forge unity to stop Israeli aggression against Palestinians.—INP
