All public and private schools have been reopened across the country after 83 days with 50 percent attendance amid strict compliance of SOPs. All public and private educational institutions have also reopened across Punjab.

“Students will come to school six days a week with 50 percent attendance. Due to Corona, no student will be allowed to come to school for two consecutive days. Students will not be allowed to come to school without masks,” the notification reads.

Education authorities in the province would monitor the schools to review the corona SOPs implementation and penalties would be imposed on violators.

The students were happy on school reopening and some of them said that online classes were ‘useless’.

Students also vowed to continue learning under the guidance of their teachers. In Islamabad, all public, private schools and colleges have reopened.
