Stealing vehicles and motor bikes
The people of Karachi were living in a constant fear of snatching of valuables when they go out of their houses but new way of stealing has been determined by thieves.
Resultantly, people of Karachi are now living in another fear within their houses of stealing vehicles as thieves are now stealing vehicles which are parked just outside their houses.
A number of incidents have transpired in the area of North Karachi where a motor bike and a car have been stolen from outside the houses of their owners which could not yet be recovered and in fact, it is out of question as it rarely happens.
But can we not make such a strategy to stop stealing of vehicles which are parked just outside the houses of residents.
Such thieves must have master keys or any instrument owing to which they can unlock the vehicles and start and take away them so easily and within no time
. How daring such thieves have become that they do not have any fear of being caught up.
Authorities concerned should look into this matter and take measures so that key makers are not able to make master keys or any such instrument which can be used to unlock and start vehicles so that such stealing of vehicles can be stopped.

Rising trend of tobacco and shisha
Ramadan is a great opportunity for the Muslims to quit smoking, practise that is hazardous to health of the person concerned or those around them.
As for the excuse that smoking provides relief against tension, it is unfounded and baseless reasoning.
Smoking is the major risk factor for heart attacks, strokes, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases, emphysema and cancers – particularly cancers of the larynx, mouth, lung and pancreas, etc.
The epidemic of tobacco use among women is increasing in some countries while they comprise about 20% of the world’s more than one billion smokers. Especially troubling is the rising prevalence of tobacco and shisha use among girls.
Shisha is gaining immense popularity among youth of twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi posing serious health risks to their lives.
It is served with certain flavors and aromatic substances Many restaurants and cafes are offering shisha in Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and other cities of the country.
Shisha smoking is more than a fashion and described as a status symbol for the younger generation.
In Pakistan traditionally used hookah is now known as shisha with a little difference in its texture and usage. Statistics at hand show that more than 100 million people worldwide smoke shisha daily
Many children are even not aware that the shisha cafes they usually go to smoke mixes some additives in their shisha just to make it their habit and are successful in doing that.
Dangers not encountered with cigarette smoking are infectious diseases resulting from pipe sharing or addition of drugs to the tobacco.
It is need of the hour that concerned quarters of government enforcing laws to curb smoking take note of the rising trend of smoking and shisha smoking among youngsters, both boys and girls.

Easter is a time of forgiveness
Easter, also called ‘Pascha’ or Resurrection Sunday, is a Christian festival and holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day after His burial following His crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is more than a noteworthy historical event, like a great victory in battle or the crowning of an earthly king.
Christ’s triumph over death is central to God’s plan, to our purpose on earth and to the existence of every one of God’s children.
Because Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day, all of us — you, your loved ones and all who have ever lived — will someday be resurrected and live again.
Easter is a time of giving not just Easter eggs to our loved ones, but also forgiveness to our enemies, tolerance of our opponents, maintaining honour in our relationships, and setting a very good example towards our children. This is a gentle reminder for our brothers and sisters.
Let this Easter season give us hope that the good will win and the truth will triumph. Happy Easter.
