Sindh Minister for Information, Local Government and Religious Affairs Syed Nasir Hussain Shah visited the Tablighi Jamaat congregation in Orangi Town on Sunday.
He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner West, ASP Orangi Town, Municipal Commissioner, Chief Engineer KDA, Executive Director Sindh Solid Waste Management and other officers.
Maulana Abdul Wahab, the organizer of the gathering, gave a detailed tour of the place to the Nasir Hussain Shah. The minister said that the Sindh government would provide all facilities to the organizers on the occasion of the annual Tablighi Ijtema starting from February 4.
He said that special arrangements would be made for sanitation and water supply. The provincial Minister for Local Government said that foolproof security plan would be prepared by the district administration.
He issued orders for construction of road from New Nazimabad to the meeting place and assured the management of the meeting place to vacate the illegal occupants in front of the doors of the meeting place. Nasir Hussain Shah while advising the organizers of Tablighi Ijtema said that implementation of Corona SOPs should be ensured on the occasion of International Tablighi Ijtema.
