Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Thursday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is following a composite development agenda, which will result in changing destiny of the backward and remote areas of the province.
These views were expressed by him while talking to eight delegations from different walks of life which called on him in Chichawatni on Thursday.
Usman Buzdar listened to their problems and directed to review the expansion of the vegetable market and model bazaars’ planning. The new local government system will be in accordance with public expirations, he answered. Being a lawyer, I fully understand the problems of the legal fraternity, he stated. Meanwhile, the establishment of journalist colonies at divisional headquarters will be ensured. The chief minister said that the government attached great importance to the prosperity of the journalists and for the purpose, will utilize all-our resources to resolve problems of the journalist community. The chief minister reiterated that he will visit every city and town to know about public problems. “The PTI government has come to power only to serve the masses and will go to any extant to ameliorate life of the common”, he pledged. The CM said that unlike the past, the incumbent governed believes in practical steps, which is visible from performance of the government. He said that no one will be allowed to embezzle public money and each and every penny of the public exchequer will be utilized for development in a transparent manner.
The Punjab chief minister vowed that doors of CM Office are open to the people adding that establishment of the university campus at Chichawatni will also be reviewed.
The delegation was led by MNA Rai Murtaza Iqbal, provincial minister Sumsam Bukhari and former MNA Rai Hassan Nawaz.
More than eight delegations from different walks of life met Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in Chichawatni.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdars sought a report from the Punjab IG police about firing by Punjab Highway Police officials at a car in Faisalabad and expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the death of a person. The CM directed impartial investigation and initiation of legal action against the accused police officials.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar sought a report from RPO Gujranwala about the murder of a woman along with her four children in the jurisdiction of Gujranwala Cantt Police. The CM extended sympathies to the heirs and directed to arrest the criminals early.
The chief minister sought a report about a road accident near Vaila Stop on Sialkot-Wazirabad Road. He expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the loss of lives and extended sympathies to the heirs. He also directed to provide best medical facilities to the injured.
