A number of terrorist attacks in Lakki Marwat and Bajaur tribal districts on Saturday left at least five people including two cops martyred.
Reports reaching here say at least two people including a policeman were killed in two separate explosions that rocked Bajaur merged district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A middle intensity explosion, reports say, ripped through the Erab area of Tehsil Momand of Bajaur leaving an individual dead. After that an other blast occurred in the jurisdiction of Police Station Lowi Momand that resulted in the martyrdom of a policeman.
Later, at least three people, including a Punjab police officer were shot dead by the unknown terrorists in Lakki Marwat district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“Some unknown terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on the victims, who were visiting Lakki Marwat for holidays,” the police said.
The victims have been identified as Sub-Inspector Qadeer Khan, who was stationed in Faisalabad, and two other individuals who were father and son.
