31 SBCA employees face show cause for absence

Director General of Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), Abdul Rasheed Solangi, has directed the issuance of show-cause notices to 31 officers and staff members who were absent from duty. According to reports, the DG conducted a surprise visit to various sections of the authority during office hours and inspected attendance registers.

He expressed anger over the absence of several employees and instructed the Director of Administration and Finance, who accompanied him, to issue show-cause notices to those absent.

During the visit, Abdul Rasheed Solangi emphasized to the present staff the importance of strictly adhering to office hours, which are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. He reiterated that public service is a top priority under the provincial government’s vision and urged employees to perform their duties with responsibility and dedication.

He stated that unapproved absences or delays would not be tolerated and that strict departmental action would be taken against negligence. While reviewing office operations, he also inspected the cleanliness of the building and directed all employees to maintain discipline and ensure a professional working environment. Solangi stressed that monitoring would continue to ensure compliance with office protocols.
