National Commissioner Girl Guides Pakistan on Tuesday said that poetry of National Poet Allama Mohammad Iqbal created new vision of life among the people, which were important for development and prosperity of a nation.
Mariya Masood Sabri National Commissioner Girl Gides Pakistan expressed these views while addressing at celebrating 145th Birth Day of Allama Mohammad Iqbal, which was arranged by Nazriya Pakistan Council.
As a chief gust she said that Iqbal’s poetry full of advises to young generation both male and female. She said the future of Pakistan was in the hands of new generation and being a responsible society we should work hard for education of our youth.
Vice Chairman of Council’s Majlis-e-Aamla Mohammad Abdullah Yousaf welcomed the participants while Director Media Anjum Khaleeq act as a moderator.
Majlis-e-Aamla of Nazriya Pakistan Council’s senior members Zeena Alam Khan, Dr Mohammad Afzal Baber, Ms Nargis Nasir, prominent lawyer Mujtab Haider Sherazi, social worker and writer of several books Naeem Fatima Alvi attended the function, which would be continued till 14th of this month.
Through pictorial exhibition on Allama Mohammad Iqbal, his poetry was displayed and the participants took keen interest in it.
