Google’s collaboration in IT sector
Recent announcement by Google to expand its collaboration with Pakistan is an encouraging step forward. A four-member delegation, led by Scott Beaumont, Google’s Asia Pacific head, recently met with Pakistan’s Prime Minister to discuss strengthening their partnership in the IT sector. As part of this collaboration, Google has expressed its commitment to investing more in Pakistan and helping train the country’s youth, thereby contributing to the development of a skilled IT workforce.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, during the meeting, emphasized the importance of Pakistan’s growing IT exports and outlined the government’s plans to achieve $25 billion in exports over the next five years. A substantial amount of funding has already been allocated to enhancing IT infrastructure and regulatory systems, as well as training the next generation of IT professionals. The Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with Google’s involvement, noting that in 2023 alone, the company enabled nearly one million job opportunities for young Pakistanis. Such efforts highlight pivotal role that IT can play in reducing unemployment and driving economic growth.
Google’s collaboration also presents opportunities for job creation and poverty alleviation, as millions of young Pakistanis stand to benefit from the skills they will acquire through various training programs. In addition to economic benefits, IT advancement can also improve public service delivery, streamline governance and increase transparency helping Pakistan to leap forward in terms of development.

Youth and sports programmes
Wish to emphasise the critical importance of youth and sports programmes in our community. Young people represent a valuable asset, and fostering their involvement in sports is essential. Such programmes not only help in unlocking their full potential but also serve as a powerful deterrent against detrimental acts like drug abuse and indulging in terrorism related activities.
By encouraging participation in sports, we provide our youth with opportunities to develop crucial leadership skills and build character. I urge for increased promotion and support of such programmes, as they play a pivotal role in shaping a healthier and more capable generation.

Ulema’s role in combating
extremism
Pakistan is facing a big problem with extremist groups. To solve this, government and society need to work together. Religious scholars or ulema have a special job to make sure that religion is not misused by certain people. Some ulema have spoken out against extremism, but others have stayed quiet. Recently, a top religious official, Dr. Raghib Naeemi, talked about how some groups are misusing religious laws. He also spoke out against people taking the law into their own hands.
Dr. Naeemi said that many religious scholars are afraid of extremists. This shows that we have a problem and we need to admit it. More religious scholars need to speak out against extremism. To eradicate extremism from society government and religious scholars need to work together. It will take time and bravery, but we need to keep trying. Government should not give in to extremists, and those who misuse religion should face strict penalties under the law.
Religious scholars have a big role in teaching tolerance and harmony. They can help make Pakistan a safer place by speaking out against extremism and promoting peace. Ulema can make a big difference by speaking out against extremism and promoting peace. By working together, we can make Pakistan a safer place.

Early marriage
Marriage is part of life yet in many areas of Pakistan and also in Balochistan girls are being married at an early age. Girls are forced by their parents and family to marry while they are merely 12 or 14 years. Girls’ education is disturbed and some times it’s terminated. This has become a big issue and it is government responsibility to take immediate action against this practise.

Family role
in our lives
We always write on other topics, but why do we never choose to write on this topic. We should write on it because we never understood the role of a family in our lives. Many people take it for granted, but families have a huge impact on us. Some relations are those who can make or break you and family is one who shapes you. Parents are always with you through thick and thin, who sacrifice everything to build a road of success so that you smoothly reach your destiny.
The most interesting connection with siblings, from shared memories to memoirs of success, is that through every difficulty to hold each other hand, they are the ones who are always with you. The connection of support and joy between brothers and sisters is a package of emotions. From pillow fights to emotional nights, from a nightmare to any fear they hold you, they are connected with strong bond that no one would ever have dare to break.
The beauty of family is that their love is felt, their presence is precious, and no matter how far they are, you know they are with you. Family is not a word, it’s an emotion to be felt and support to be realised, as family is the cornerstone of our identity, shaping our values, beliefs, and sense of belonging. They teach us to love, support, and thrive in the face of adversity. By embracing their unwavering presence, we discover our true selves and unlock our full potential.
