Uzbek envoy, Governor discuss bilateral relations

Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori met Ambassador of Uzbekistan Aybek Arif Usmanov at the Governor’s House. The Uzbek Ambassador also rang the ‘Bell of Hope’, reviewed the rations of ‘Taqatwar Pakistan Programme’ and the furniture used by the ‘Father of the Nation’.

In the meeting, Pakistan-Uzbekistan relations, promotion of mutual economic cooperation, exchange of delegations in various fields, favorable investment opportunities in Sindh province and other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.

Governor Sindh said that Samarqand, Bukhara and Tashkent have a prominent place in Islamic history, he said that Pakistan-Uzbekistan relations are getting stronger with the passage of time. Kamran Khan Tessori said that mutual cooperation will benefit the economy of both countries, adding that Uzbek investors should benefit from the favorable investment environment in the province.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Aybek Arif Usmanov said that Sindh Governor’s public welfare measures are exemplary.
