Unity Foods Limited has announced a “thoughtful and strategic shift in leadership” as Amir Shehzad has been appointed as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The company made the announcement in a Facebook post, stating: “We are pleased to share a thoughtful and strategic shift in leadership grounded in continuity, trust, and long-term vision that reinforces our commitment to strong governance, stability, and value creation for all stakeholders”.
Farrukh Amin Godil, whose stewardship has strengthened Unity Foods’ operational foundations and strategic momentum, has transitioned into the role of Non-Executive Director, continuing to contribute to our growth and direction with his insight and passion.
“Amir Shehzad, our Board Chairman and a leader with deep institutional knowledge and vision, has stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer, a testament to the Board’s confidence in his ability to guide us forward with clarity and purpose,” read the announcement.
Unity Foods said this has been a carefully planned transition, supported wholeheartedly by Wilmar International, “reflecting our shared belief in sustainable growth and strategic continuity”.
