Thirty-seven companies from Türkiye showcased their organic food products at the renowned organic food fair held in Nuremberg, Germany, touted as the world’s largest event of its kind.
The fair provided Turkish companies with a platform to present their latest products and projects to international suppliers and attendees, highlighting Türkiye’s advancements in the organic product sector in recent years.
The companies offered samples of their organically certified products, cultivated without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides, while also gaining insights into emerging trends in the industry. The Turkish pavilion, organized by Türkiye’s Aegean Exporters’ Associations, featured 16 companies, demonstrating a robust presence across the nine halls of the fair.
Mehmet Ali Isik, president of the Aegean Dried Fruits and Products Exporters’ Association, emphasized the fair’s significance as a major gathering hub for Germany and the world for over three decades, particularly in the organic products domain.
With 2,500 companies from 94 countries participating in this year’s event, he said, “Companies from all over the world are coming and there are many sectors including cosmetics.
“Two events were carried out at the fair. Firstly, companies and countries are introducing their own products, and secondly, everyone can see what is going on in the world.” —AA
