litical stalwart Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain is surly the only political personality who feels the political pulse best of all other contemporary politicians in the country. He always addresses miseries of the deprived. Former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Ilahi is known as the best administrator in Punjab. Punjab being the biggest province (population-wise) remains politically deciding factor. Perhaps, PTI is politically barren in Punjab also that is why it could not find dynamic leadership here. Unanimously agreed Punjab could produce Shahbaz Sharif and Chaudhry Pervaiz Ilahi as best administrators and strong politicians. In the present circumstances Chaudhry Pervaiz Ilahi is matchless choice to run business of politically and economically descending Punjab.
Pakistan Muslim League (Q) needs to take political step forward to play its positive role in good governance. Though as Speaker of Punjab Assembly, Chaudhry Pervaiz Ilahi is running the House quite successfully, yet he is worth more than a Speaker and can deliver more decisively as CM Punjab. If governed by the same present leadership of PTI, Punjab will not pay back to the ruling party in next general election at all. Crime rate in almost all the districts of Punjab has gone very high because of political influence in the affairs of Police and Revenue Department. Almost all MNAs and MPAs of PTI are found influencing Revenue officers, Patwaris and SHOs. With nominal exception most of the officers have surrendered and commit injustice. Because of injustice and encouragement of the criminals by the politicians of the ruling party robberies, thefts, kidnappings, rapes, murders and illegal grabbing of government as well as personal land have distorted peace of the province. In all police stations investigation officers openly demand bribe. MNAs and MPAs refuge and shelter criminals. This way government itself is promoting crime and injustice in the country. Resultantly rightful people are being deprived of their rights. Justice providing political party PTI is devastating justice in the country especially the Punjab. Narcotics and raw form poisonous wine are being manufactured and sold fearlessly and openly. Police and Excise Department, knowing all this, keep a mum. Land mafia with the help of Patwaris is involved in grabbing land of the government and the masses. Assistant Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and Commissioners are dutiful and honest but the subordinate staff is found corrupt with rare exception. Because of personal matter of illegal occupation by politically-influenced land mafia on my land in Mianchannu, I have come across such issues; so my words are not hearsay at all. I have found many officers upright, honest and dutiful. Punjab has never been a paradise but it doesn’t mean that it can’t be a worth living place. Only commitment, honesty and excellent governance can attain these high objectives. Life, honour and property can be protected only with provision of justice and zero level of political influence in Police and Revenue proceedings. Satisfactory level governance and rule of law can only make it possible. One and half year rule of PTI proves that Punjab has politically gone far from the hands of the PTI rulers because of injustices and irregularities. What to talk about Sindh, Baluchistan and KP lawlessness and injustice seem to prevail in the Punjab province. The only way to address this alarming situation, governance of Punjab be given to a politically strong and mature person like Cauchy Pervaiz Ilahi, who knows how to grab the grabbers of the land of the masses from collar. He knows how to keep Revenue Department and Police Stations away from unconstitutional and illegal influence of Assembly members. Same model of governance will have to be followed by CMs of other provinces. Governance in KP also carries big question mark. This province is important because of Afghanistan and CPEC. Undoubtedly, our Armed Forces have, very successfully, controlled terrorism and lawlessness. For the attainment of peace, role of Armed Forces is commendable and I salute their services and sacrifices. Recently, the US poked its nose in CPEC project. Both China and Pakistan have categorically retaliated and condemned its intervention. China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is economic jugular vain of Pakistan. Pakistan needs to be very strong in KP as far as future of gigantic project of CPEC is concerned. Because of different cultures and circumstances of KP, role of Governor has always been very important here. PML(Q) maintains very strong relationship with China. This is why, the Central Senior Vice President of the Party, Muhammad Yousaf Khan Hoti, with the consent of Shujaat and Pervaiz, is visiting China next month to meet Chinese Foreign Minister to express solidarity with him. Top level Chinese diplomats such as Zhao Lijian and Yao Jing are looking forward for this high level meeting. A highly educated, politically strong and influential politician is needed as Governor in KP. Factually speaking, Yousaf Khan Hoti, grandson of former Governor Abdul Ghafoor Khan Hoti, seems right choice for governorship. Having very strong political background in KP, he can positively influence and control the matters of CPEC in KP. China will also be comfortable to see him Governor of KP because of his meritorious capabilities. If President and Premier decide to induct Hoti as Governor KP, CPEC project will be in the safe zone. Because of his family’s political influence his governorship in KP will also make Baluchistan-related CPEC matters comfortable. With the blessing of Chaudhry Shujaat and Pervaiz Ilahi, he is reorganizing and restructuring PML(Q) quite briskly. Moreover, he is making the annoyed political figures friendly with new zeal and zest. Being a pearl of the Hoti Family, Yousaf Hoti is blessed with political and diplomatic acumen. To address CPEC-related issues and merged agencies in KP top leadership of PTI and PML(Q) need to benefit from his potential and political influence. Political ally of PTI triangle of top leadership of PML(Q) Cauchy Shujaat Hussain, Pervaiz Ilahi and Muhammad Yousaf Khan Hoti can show clear and successful difference of governance.
