Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs, Ameer Muqam Thursday expressed resentment over Imran Khan’s statement against integrity of the country and demanded a court trial against him under the treason act.
In a media statement here, he said the statement and intentions of Imran were tantamount to treason and he must be tried for it, adding that the judiciary should take immediate action against Imran’s hatred speeches against the state institutions.
“From the very first day I was demanding Governor Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as Imran was planning an attack on the federation.” Muqam said, adding Imran was involved in conspiracy against the security and integrity of Pakistan and he must be stopped under the law and constitution.—APP
