On the directive of Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, Pakistan and Thailand flags were hoisted at Press Club Chowk (Fountain Square) to celebrate Thailand’s National Day. The event featured a dazzling fireworks display and was attended by Thailand’s Consul General Surashete Boontinand and other diplomatic staff.
The square was illuminated with the colors of both nations’ flags, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Crowds enthusiastically chanted slogans of “Long Live Pakistan-Thailand Friendship,” adding to the celebratory spirit. In his message, Governor Tessori congratulated the people of Thailand and extended his best wishes, emphasizing the historic and mutually respectful ties between the two nations.
“The bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Thailand is rooted in history and mutual cooperation,” he stated. Highlighting the areas of economic and cultural collaboration, the governor stressed the importance of increasing bilateral trade and investment for mutual benefit. “Enhanced economic cooperation is key to shared prosperity,” he noted, inviting Thai investors to explore opportunities in Sindh for promising outcomes.
