Tessori attends Data Ganj Bakhsh Urs, offers prayers for national prosperity

Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori participated in the Urs of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA), laying a floral wreath at the shrine and offering prayers for the nation’s prosperity and development. Secretary Auqaf, Dr. Syed Tahir Raza Bukhari, honored Governor Tessori with a ceremonial turban during the event.

The governor expressed his heartfelt connection to the spiritual atmosphere at the shrines of saints, praising Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA) for spreading peace and harmony in the subcontinent. “We must embrace the teachings of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh, especially in today’s times,” he said. Speaking to the media, Tessori expressed gratitude for participating in the Urs and prayed for Pakistan’s economic recovery.

He highlighted the importance of national unity and progress, stating, “It is our responsibility in these roles to address the people’s issues.” In response to a question, he praised Punjab’s leadership and offered prayers for their continued success.

Tessori also lauded the efforts of the Army Chief, acknowledging his role in securing borders and working tirelessly toward economic stability. He urged collective prayers to remove the obstacles to Pakistan’s development and called for an end to divisive politics.

“Whenever Pakistan moves forward, enemies attempt to disrupt peace, as seen in Karachi,” he added, emphasizing the need for unity and resilience as the country marches toward progress in the coming years.
