In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Khawaja Firdous, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement, has said that the fake encounter in Haiderpura, Srinagar, has proved that terrorist Indian Army is involved in the massacre of innocent Kashmiris in the occupied territory.
Khawaja Firdous in a statement issued in Srinagar said that even before this, the brutal Indian army has martyred several Kashmiri youth in fake encounters and he cited the killing of three youth who had come to Shopian to seek some labour by Indian troops on July 18, 2018, as just one example.
The Hurriyat leader deplored that India had provided immunity to its cowardly troops under black laws due to which no legal action could be taken against them. He said that Indian soldiers involved in fake encounters are provided rewards and promotions.
He appealed to the international community and the United Nations to do their part to save the Kashmiri people from the Indian occupational forces.—KMS
