A protest demonstration was held in Islamabad, today, against the brutalities of Indian troops on people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The protest was organized under the auspices of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter outside the National Press Club, Islamabad.

Addressing the protest demonstration, the Hurriyat leaders said that India was committing human rights violations in the territory under a pre-planned conspiracy.

They also expressed concern over the killing of innocent civilians by Indian troops at a staged encounter in Hyderpora, Srinagar.

The Hurriyat leaders deplored that India was committing genocide of the Kashmiris by martyring youth in fake encounters and so-called cordon and search operations in IIOJK.

They said that instead of resolving the lingering Kashmir dispute through meaningful and result-oriented dialogue, India was suppressing the Kashmiris’ just struggle for securing their birthright to self-determination.

India will never succeed in its sinister designs and the freedom movement would be taken to its logical conclusion.
The Hurriyat leaders lamented that the Modi-led fascist Indian government is changing the demography of the occupied territory to make the United Nations Kashmir resolutions ineffective.

India is also accommodating its citizens in the territory to change its Muslim majority status into a minority but the Kashmiri people would never allow India to succeed in nefarious ambitions.

They urged the world community to take notice of Indian oppression in the occupied territory and help settle the long-pending Kashmir dispute according to the UN relevant resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.—KMS
