The Special Investigation Unit of Indian police has raided several houses in Kishtwar district of Jammu region in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The sleuths of SIU along with Indian paramili-tary and police personnel conducted raids on the houses of the people affiliated with the ongoing struggle for right to self-determination in the district.
The house raids were carried out in connection with a false case registered under black law, Unlaw-ful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), against the pro-freedom people.
Earlier, the Modi regime issued non-bailable warrants against 13 people of the district who mi-grated to Azad Jammu and Kashmir over two dec-ades ago due to the atrocities of Indian troops.
Meanwhile, personnel of Indian army and police arrested a Kashmiri man, identified as as Mohammed Sadiq Lone, during a cordon and search operation in Kreeri village of Baramulla district.—KMS
