Sindh government has formally requested a helicopter from the federal government for aerial surveillance during the 17th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed on December 27, at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto, Larkana. In a letter addressed to the federal interior ministry, the Sindh Home Department emphasized the necessity of air surveillance to ensure security during the event, which will be attended by prominent figures such as President Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
