The Sindh Government’s Human Rights Department, in partnership with Denning Law School, has launched an internship program tailored for recent graduates in law and social sciences. The decision to collaborate on this program was made in a recent meeting between Agha Fakhr Hussain, Director of the Human Rights Department, and Huzefa Bohra, CEO and Director of Denning Law School.
Agha Fakhr Hussain highlighted the importance of this initiative, saying, “We’re investing in a generation committed to advancing human rights and justice in Pakistan.” The partnership aims to equip young graduates with critical skills and knowledge to become effective human rights advocates. The five-month training program will offer in-depth education on human rights laws, hands-on experience with the operations of the Human Rights Department, and engagement with international NGOs. Designed to empower the next generation, the initiative will foster a commitment to promoting human rights and justice across Pakistan.
