Sindh girl students’ triumph at battle of chefs 2024 in Malaysia

Students from the Pakistan Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (PITHM) in Sindh have achieved remarkable success at the international Battle of Chefs 2024 held in Malaysia. The students secured two gold medals and two bronze medals in the prestigious culinary competition. Ayesha Ali won gold in the seafood category, while SehrishAyub earned gold for her chicken main course.

IrumShaikh and Fatima Sistan both brought home bronze medals, with Shaikh being recognized for her Roasted Chicken Freestyle. Upon their return, Provincial Minister for Culture, Tourism, Antiquities, and Archives Sindh, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, met with the victorious students at his office.

He praised their achievements, awarded each student a cash prize of Rs. 50,000, and presented them with traditional Sindhi Ajraks. Shah congratulated the students and their families, expressing national pride in their international success. He highlighted PITHM’s role in showcasing Pakistani talent on the global stage. Director of PITHM, HidayatullahRajar, was also present during the congratulatory meeting.
