The Senate on Monday unanimously passed a resolution condemning the Israeli atrocities against the innocent Palestinians including the children.
They strongly condemned the US veto against the UN Security Council Resolution passed by the majority of the World Nations for ceasefire in Gaza. The Resolution also calls for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire. The law makers strongly condemned the Israeli atrocities and aggressive actions against the innocent Palestinians including elderly people, children, and patients in hospitals and urged the government to take an immediate action for the same.
The resolution was passed during a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, which held today at parliament lodges while Senator Molana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri was on chair.
The Senate Religious Affairs Committee directed the ministry to investigate the non-registered company, Fifth Pilar Takaful Ltd, involved in the illegal booking of Hajj and Umrah. Chairman HOAP informed that the company is, falsely claiming affiliation with HOAP, deceives the public by promoting installment-based Hajj, potentially contributing to a broader fraud scheme.
