Mafia in the Sindh health department has become a nuisance for the secretary health as accountant Khalil Bhutto transferred from Karachi to Sukkur as a disciplinary action after serious allegations of corruption in Covid-19 funds two weeks ago is still holding the post. There is no implementation on health Secretary’s orders regarding the transfer of accountant he has also completed the 8 years on this job contrary to civil services rules. Rather surprisingly,Director Health Services Karachi DrHashim Shah has been enjoying Eid vacation and is of version that he has not received the official orders. After Eid vacations when health Department inquired about Khalil Bhutto’s transfer report from section officer NaeemKhanzada and AqeelMaku,they gave false report. It is to note that theDistrict Health Officer Sukkur didn’t know about Khalil Bhutto’s transfer. Whereas, Health department has issued show-cause notice to Khalil Bhutto. Sources have said that Accountant of Civil hospital Karachi Mukhtar Ahmed Qureshi will be given charge of additional accountswhenthe secretary health will pay an emergency visit to health directorate on Thursday.
