Installing a filtration plant to provide potable cleans= water to the inhabitants of the rural area is lifetime Sadqa Jaria (continuous charity). The Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said while inaugurating a water filter plant at Jhulana village in the vicinity of Mandi city. He said the Sarwar Foundation had arranged and installed infiltration plants to provide clean and pollution-free water to a population of two lakhs.
In cooperation and assistance of other NGOs will further install water filtration plants for five million people. Under this project filtration plat at Chak Jhumra will start functioning tomorrow. On this occasion DC Tariq Ali Basra, MNA Imtiaz, MPA Gulrez Chan, DPO Syed Ali Raza, ADC Toqeer Cheema, AC Kashif and the district President of PTI Major retired Zulfiqar Gondal were present. He said according to the vision of PM Imran Khan every citizen would provide a Health Card to avail free treatment and medicines at a government hospital.
He said due to the timely smart-lockdown policy of the PM, the Covid 19 was controlled from spreading. During lock-down fifty thousand deserving persons were given twelve thousand rupees each as financial assistance. Service structure in every government department is gradually improving with respect to service delivery. He appreciated Faisal Imran Gondal for his efforts in installing a water filter plant at his village that would continue getting prayers and blessings for him from the beneficiaries. Referring to financial assistance to deserving persons in Punjab, he told Rupee 10.000.000.000 (10 Arb) had been spent as a charity. He also planted a tree at the site of the filtration plant.
