Exchange rate of Pak Rupee strengthened by 70 paisa against the US Dollar in the interbank trading on Monday and closed at Rs186.04 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 186.74. According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 185.25 and Rs 187 respectively.
The price of Euro also depreciated by Rs 1.90 and closed at Rs 199.69 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 201.59. The Japanese Yen lost one paisa to close at Rs 1.45, whereas a decrease of Rs 2.67 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 237.09 as compared to its last closing of Rs 239.76. The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal decreased by 19 paisas to close at Rs 50.65 and Rs 49.60 respectively.—APP
