The portrait exhibition of Yahya Kemal Beyath, the first ambassador of Türkiye to Pakistan held on Sunday at Ahmed Parvez Art Gallery of the Arts Council of Pakistan. The occasion attended by Consul General of Thailand, Consul General of Japan, Consul General of Oman and Consul General of Indonesia.
Consul General Türkiye Cemal Sangu in his welcome note said that the relations between Türkiye and Pakistan spreads over the centuries. “We are two nations but our ideology is same”, he added. Cemal said that YAHYA besides his diplomatic profession, he was a famous poet and writer of Türkiye. He thanked Arts Council of Pakistan for the extended support in organizing the exhibition.
President Arts Council of Pakistan (ACP) Muhammad Ahmad Shah expressed his views on the relations on two brotherly countries and commended the services of Yahya Kemal Beyath.
