Sindh Minister for Education and Culture Syed Sardar Ali Shah has said that we have recently recruited 50,000 teachers across province on merit through IBA.
He was addressing the launching ceremony of the book “Historical Interviews” authored by Ameer Abro at Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi on Monday. President Arts Council Karachi Mohammad Ahmed Shah was also present.
Syed Sardar Ali Shah said that we are not closing any school, we are closing the vader’s room and the buffalo enclosure. Eleven thousand schools are lying idle in Sindh.
We are reducing the number of primary schools and increasing the number of secondary schools. The provincial minister further stated that it is our responsibility to provide furniture and buildings to the teachers in the schools.
Expressing his views on the occasion, Arts Council President Muhammad Ahmad Shah said, “I am very happy that what this land has given to Amir Abro, they are now giving it back. Appreciating Amir Abro’s services in the field of education.”
At the end of the ceremony, Reshma Parveen, a famous singer from Sindh, performed in a concert. Atiyah Daad. Javed Qazi Amir Abro, Aijaz Turk, Haider Nizamani Rashid Memon Aajez Jamali. Mahi Noor Sheikh Dr. Ayub Sheikh and others addressed the event.
